Filmmaker is a mobile stand for the Zinemaldia’s Agenda 2030 Award section, 74th edition of San Sebastian International Film Festival.
It consists of two praxinoscopes, optical toys that preceded cinema, used to animate illustrated strips. The cinematic stand is made of folded metal, lacquered in a “red carpet” colour. The wooden ears fold down, while the praxinoscopes are stored inside until the next screening.
The off-white panel is made of recycled plastic and advertises two fictional films inspired by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Design and development of the stand: Mazedonia Design.
Illustrations and graphic design: Jabier Rodriguez.
