Materiategi LabNK is the first Material Library in Gipuzkoa, and can be consulted at the headquarters of the Naturklima Foundation. Materiategi (in Basque "a place to store materials") is also conceived as a tailor-made exhibition for the Passivhaus-certified building that houses the Foundation. The library features 60 samples of materials that exemplify the principles of the circular economy, developed in collaboration with regional companies, research centres, and supporting institutions. It also includes samples of non-revalued waste, offering inspiration for future circular economy innovations.
Mazedonia conceived and designed the overall concept of the library, developed its custom furniture, visual identity, and edited the accompanying technical data sheets. All material samples have been digitized and are available for online viewing.
